e-finance: “Bee” is one of the important payment solutions partners due to the large number of their P.O.S.
“Bee” the leading electronic payment solutions company started its trial to collect electricity bills through a field experience in one of the supermarkets in Zamalek on June 16, where the trial was successful from the first time and a short message was sent to the client’s mobile phone confirming that the bill has been paid successfully.
Mohamed Abu Khadra, the Marketing Director of “Bee” in Egypt said that “The success of the trial is due to the cooperation of all participating parties including the electricity company, the financial services company “e-finance”, and “Bee” for electronic payment solutions which provided an easy platform for every customer to pay his own bills"
Also, starting in August 2014, the bills payment can be made through 18,000 points of sale P.O.S. that exist around the country, where the customers can use the nearest point to pay their bills, added Abu Khadra.
And from his side, Ahmed Abu Al Dahab, the business development director of e-finance declared that “Bee” is one of the most important partners of success in the field of electronic payment solutions in Egypt, and we are focusing on this field to take the advantage of increasing the capital turnover in banks rather than leaving it unused as liquidity with the collectors.
He added that keeping money in the form of liquidity causes massive losses for the country due to wasting the benefit of using that money, and that is what the company has been trying to avoid through its contract with “Bee” is to collect bills electronically and to speed up the process which normally takes a week to minutes, hence saving time and money.
According to South Cairo Electricity Company, about 10 million beneficiaries can now use “Bee” P.O.S. to pay their bills at any time in an easy way and get a printed receipt confirming the payment process.
